Application Activities
- Generate a list and rank the top ten barriers to implementing an activity-based approach. Divide into small groups to explain or provide solutions for the top two implementation barriers.
- Review the major elements of an activity-based approach (child-directed, routine, and planned activities; multiple and varied learning opportunities; functional and generative goals; timely and integral feedback or consequences), and then observe interactions and activities within your practicum or job setting.
