9: Transdisciplinary Framework

Application Activity

Divide students into five groups. Ask each student in a group to assume a different theoretical perspective on child development (behavioral, interactionist, information-processing, social-constructivist). Assuming these perspectives, the students in the group must reach consensus regarding an assessment tool to use. Afterwards, ask the students to discuss the barriers they encountered in reaching consensus.
