Application Activity

Divide the class into six groups. Assign each group a developmental domain of behavior:

  • Fine motor
  • Gross motor
  • Cognitive
  • Adaptive
  • Social communication
  • Social

Ask each group to prepare a list of three developmental behaviors that can be assessed using a focused assessment approach and three behaviors that would not lend themselves to measurement using this model.
