  1. Contact a visiting nurse, and set up an appointment to observe a parent training session with a first-time mother. Write a description of what occurred throughout the training session (e.g., what information was given to the new mother/family).

  2. Imagine that you are a nurse responsible for informing parents who have a child with suspected developmental disabilities. What information would you need to give the family with about their child? What other information could you provide?
